Jesus referred to the church as a body with different parts and as those parts come together so the body functions at its best. We are part of the EVERY NATION Southern Africa which is a family of Churches & Ministries. We were sent from our HIS PEOPLE Church in Cape Town (N1 City), in 2005, to plant His People in Pietermaritzburg. A Sozo session is a time for the Sozo team to sit down with you and with the help of the Holy Spirit walk you through the process of freedom and wholeness. Sozo is not a counseling session but a time of interacting with Father, Son and Holy Spirit for wholeness and pursuing of your destiny. We have trained a number of people to do Sozo Sessions. Ephesians 6:10 says the following: God is strong, and He wants you strong. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. God wants us strong, but this strength is found 'in Him', through our union with Him. Whenever we spend time with the Lord, strength is imparted into our inner being by the Holy Spirit. If we look at the other things the Lord said, we can understand why he took courage & was so strong, to take over from such a great leader like Moses and lead the people to possess their promised land. At His People, it's our desire that children know God, encounter Him, and adore Him. Children learn to know Him through the Word, they encounter Him through His presence, and adore Him through a life surrendered. We impart the Word of God to the children by teaching with a systematic approach where they are able to hear it, see it, say it, and do it. We create an environment where the Holy Spirit is welcome and the children are positioned to encounter God's manifest presence. Worship, soaking, dancing, prophetic art, prayer, and prophecy are just some of the many ways that His presence is manifest revealing the Father's love for them. Through knowing and experiencing God, the fruit of a child's life is adoration and a life surrendered to Him. The children join us for some praise & worship after which they all go together with our Children’s Church Team to have an action packed time, learning about God and His Word.
