The Royal Show is Africa’s largest mixed agricultural show, and also boasts and extensive entertainment programme and a broad mix of public-interest exhibits. HOMEBRANDS has exhibited at the Royal Agricultural Show Pietermaritzburg for well over ten years with various stands and products at each expo and every time, through inventive and original programming, the Show offers a valuable platform to promote and market our new products, and engage with a captive audience in KZN for continuous and new business year after year. We thoroughly enjoy the friendly and relaxed atmosphere at the Showgrounds, which brings in plenty of customers each year, and as much as the whole team is exhausted after ten days, we always look forward to returning the following year to yet another successful Royal Show! We at MASCOR certainly enjoyed being at The Royal Show and a good amount of business was created and captured there. We certainly benefited by the move kindly offered to us and we hope to keep the new stand for future Shows. Today the Show is the largest mixed exhibition incorporating a fully-fledged agricultural component on the continent of Africa. Not only does this include the exposition of some of the country’s finest livestock and agricultural equipment but also a range of ancillary activities and displays covering the industrial, commercial and service sectors within the province. Included in the mix is the 2100m² Food Hall, where by way of exhibits and demonstrations, the entire food chain from farm field to dining table is informatively portrayed. Other dedicated halls include those relating to business, home improvements and safety and security, together with a further 4 000m² under cover devoted to a broad mix of general displays. Open site stands likewise cater for a mix of exhibits ranging from swimming pools and building requisites through to a vast array of tractors, agricultural implements and the latest motor vehicles and trucks. A truly pleasant and profitable experience for participants and visitors alike.
