HPH Publishing is a publishing company specializing in nature and wildlife coffee-table books. The Van den Bergs are intimately involved in all the aspects of producing the books and products that HPH Publishing develops. Founded by Heinrich van den Berg, Shades of Nature, Art of Nature, including Greater Kruger - The Big Picture, the company has published more than 20 books, together with Philip and Ingrid van den Berg in 2001, Game Drive and Phototips.

HPH Publishing is the only publishing company that helps nature lovers and tourists to appreciate natural beauty through high quality books so that they can get the most out of their holidays to the wild. Heinrich van den Berg, together with Philip and Ingrid van den Berg made their dreams come true. So in 2001 they formed HPH Publishing, a publishing company with the ambitious aim to create books that are beautiful, of exceptionally high printing quality and useful. From the start they sacrificed possible profits for quality. Based in Johannesburg, South Africa, Heinrich is well known for pushing the boundaries of photography to create explosive images that are as beautiful as they are emotive. To achieve such presence through the visual medium, Heinrich is in essence a thinking photographer. Through the lens he captures evocative moments in time, which leave lasting impressions through the pages of his carefully crafted books. In 1998 Heinrich left his profession as a civil engineer to follow his passion and work full time as a wildlife photographer. In order to portray his images as accurately as possible to readers, he acquired all the necessary book-publishing skills and, together with Philip and Ingrid van den Berg, established HPH Publishing in Husband and wife award-winning photographers Philip and Ingrid van den Berg share a love of Africa and all its facets. It is their passion to capture unique moments in nature and share these with readers, through the pages of their wildlife books. With their extensive knowledge of the natural world coupled with their scientific backgrounds, they are an integral part of the HPH team of photographers and writers. HPH Publishing specialises in high-quality photographic coffee-table books. We focus on wildlife and nature publications, as well as guide books, mementos and photography books. Our books have won various awards, including a gold medal in the coffee-table book category of the 2015 Independent Publisher Book Awards. We pride ourselves on the quality of our books and go out of our way to maintain the level of excellence that our clients are used to.
