Sandra Helen Gavin founded Enhance Beauty Clinic in 1995 and therefore the company has been in successful operation for 22 years, creating a strong brand and market presence. Initially Enhance started as a home-based operation, but demand grew to the extent that it became necessary to expand the operation to the current premises where the clinic employs 6 staff members and has numerous hi-tech machines at its disposal to perform specialised treatments such as permanent makeup application. Sandra has maintained a hands-on approach to running Enhance Beauty Clinic and personally ensures that all staff are trained and supervised to her own high levels of service and care. The ethos of the company is to create a relaxing and comfortable environment for clients to enjoy their time at the clinic, whilst receiving the highest standard of service and care. The Lamprobe in a non-invasive radio, high frequency technology to treat minor skin abnormalities without penetrating the skin’s surface. It is used to treat these superficial irregularities non-invasively and extremely rapidly. The discomfort levels experienced by the client is tolerable with the sensation produced feeling much like a tight pinch. Different filters are used in the hand pieces which change the wave length range allowing for different applications and skin types. The light penetrates the tissue and is absorbed by either the blood when treating vascular lesions or melanin when treating pigmented lesions which causes damage to the targeted cells. Even though it appears as though the hair continues to grow, it is actually the body shedding the hair entirely, and over time the treated hair will grow out of the skin. This should not be mistaken for continued hair growth. Discontinue sunbed use and spray tans for at least 4 weeks prior to treatment. Shaving between hair removal is important ensuring the hair is 2- 3 days growth. The light also stimulates collagen production to help resolve acne scarring. The objective with treating warts with Pulse Light is to cut off the blood supply to the wart and treat the perimeter of the wart where the virus resides. Use a high SPF factor sunscreen when exposed to the sun between and after treatments. Transfer thermal energy into the dermis, accelerating blood circulation, it tightens fibrous tissue instantly which stimulates collagen production.
