The staff have collectively travelled comprehensively around the world to over 34 foreign destinations and are able to assist with first hand experience on your next quest to conquer that peak or kit up for a ski-trip of a life time. Our staff have been on expeditions to the Himalayas and base camp Everest, conquered 6000m peaks in South America, Dog sledded high up in the Arctic circle and been Snowboarding in Scandinavia and Eastern Europe. One staff member is an avid cyclist who has tamed the likes of the Imana wild ride, the Sani2C, and Giants Castle challenges. Another member of staff is a rescue officer for the Mountain Club of South Africa and has been on numerous rescue operations for injured and lost people in the Drakensberg. We also have a provincial hockey player, personal trainer and provincial coach. Other hobbies that are actively pursued by staff include hiking, ice climbing, and fishing. All this experience allows for very good product knowledge and technical know-how for when you next have an exciting adventure to go on and need the right advice!
